Job Title: Uplift Summer Camp Counselor
Location: Harding University – Searcy, Arkansas
Duration: June 5-26, 2026

Position Overview:

Harding University’s Uplift Summer Camp is seeking dedicated and Christ-centered individuals to serve as Camp Counselors. As a counselor, you will play a vital role in shaping the spiritual, emotional, and social experience of our campers. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to be a positive, Christ-like influence in the lives of students from across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dorm Supervision: Monitor and care for a hall of middle and high school students, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to camp guidelines during overnight stays in Harding dormitories.

  • Group Leadership: Guide a designated group of students through daily class rotations, encouraging participation and fostering a sense of community.

  • Worship Participation: Actively engage in daily worship and devotional times alongside campers, modeling authentic and vibrant Christian faith.

  • Activity Support: Help facilitate and supervise afternoon recreational and spiritual activities, providing a fun and safe environment for all campers.

  • Mentorship: Build relationships with campers through active listening, encouragement, and spiritual guidance. Be available to help students navigate personal and spiritual challenges.

  • Christ-like Example: Maintain a servant-hearted attitude, demonstrating Christ in speech, actions, and service throughout the camp week.

Qualifications:

  • A mature, active Christian with a desire to serve young people,

  • Must have been out of high school for one year ( Graduated 2024 or before)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to commit to training sessions and full participation during assigned camp sessions.
